  Involve stakeholders from across departments in tech planning. IT leaders should understand business goals, and business leaders should grasp what technology can (and can’t) do.
- **Define Clear KPIs**  
  Set metrics that *tie directly* to business outcomes — like revenue growth, improved margin, or customer satisfaction — not just technical performance and user adoption.
- **Review and Refine Continuously**  
  Alignment isn’t a one-and-done effort. Regular strategic reviews, agile planning, and open communication help keep tech initiatives relevant as business needs evolve.

Dealers that align technology with strategy tend to be more agile, effective, efficient, and customer focused. They can pivot quickly, make data-driven decisions, and deliver better experiences across the board. Aligning technology with business strategy isn’t just a smart move — it’s a necessity.
